this was the xmas eve/xmas day meal

snacks 2 stave off hanger:
carmelized onion and bacon dip w chip

goat cheese from vermont creamery w cranberry sauce and olive bread we bought

raised meat pie, roasted savoy cabbage, caramelized balsamic vinegar red onions, and honeynut squash dauphinoise

the onions and the cabbage were just aiiiight so i wont post the recipes lol. i also made a gravy 2 go w and then creamed spinach for xmas since we killed the squash

btw the meat pie jody liked but i dont rly like it lol its like

j u s t meat
no onion no carrot nothing just m e a t encrusted in pie crust
seasonings???? just parsley, 3 sage leaves, nutmeg, mace (which is basically nutmeg), white pepper, black pepper, salt

like that listing of stuff does not scream exciting flavor u fl me

but i went o f f w the lil leaf decal on the pie crust

homemade trifle with cheeses, mimosa bar, and more. did it on the 23rd cuz most ppl have plans on the eve and day of. 14 friends rolled thru my tiny lil place it was a massive hit
