this doesn't even make sense so if they were burgundy cargo pants without the patch the fit would suck??

those are jeans in my eyes are tougher piece to bring into fits because of the wash so it's been really interesting to see what you do with em but that wash demands getting the colors right and I think you miss that here by pairing them with the translucent ramones, kind of turns the whole bottom half to sludgethose shoes will always be crazy to me in terms of their colors though, marbled earth tones
if it were me I'd always include those shoes with brighter colors to either ground the other colors or just exist as an individual block that can coexist with the other colors I was wearing so I'm interested in seeing how else you'd pair em with darker/earthier colors (man, you/anyone that has them could tap into some nasty/grimy color schemes with em and bring that feel beyond the colors depending on what you paired with em)
You always give some of the best advice tbh. Thanks. I had it in my mind that the shoes were more of natural/beige color. Definitely see how it turns the bottom to sludge. Think the fit would have worked with a white shoe?

this is definitely better, any denim with a coloured weft is gonna be hard to style especially if you cuff.

Feb 24, 2020FirmamentsTop half and bottom half seem like they belong to diff outfits. Top half colors are kinda preppy and dont really go well with the sorta rusted/worn look of the jeans. Shoe choice seems almost too safe and kinda takes away from the jeans as well. maybe a more military or workwear vibe could work well the em.

Yeah, I think so but that's a unique color/pair of pants so just keep trying different pairings (not just shoes even though that's what we're talking about here)/colors so that you can really get a feel for them
