People always said he was a huge biter but it was the most noticable on Owl Pharaoh
It was literally him trying to be Yeezus era Kanye (yes, i know they worked together a lot) mixed in with Cudi, offering nothing on the level of personality those people both radiate all the time
He still doesn't have a personality, but the music got more polished for sure which helps
Bad Mood/Shit On You, MIA, Upper Echelon are all amazing tracks but if anything i would say this mixtape showed a lot of promise. It's not an amazing end product and it's NOWHERE near Rodeo level. That album was really something else
I feel like the angst he displayed on Owl Pharaoh is always overlooked by saying he had no personality.

Angst? I don't hear it fam. Juice WRLD and his peers are angsty, i wouldn't label this as such
It the typical ''mark it dark'' meme in full effect tbh. It's purely dark sounding for aesthetic reasons. It sounds hard, but if he wanted to come across angsty he def failed. Because it's all very surface level
That's why Juice the only one who dropped so much angsty emo content that i still f***ed with. It never sounded more genuine with somebody
Lol gotta give you props for waking up and thinking of this bait thread. Its gonna be a hit with how outrageously out of pocket it is.
Birds didn't really have misses. It was a lot more safe than Owl Pharaoh but OP had more mid songs
Not his best not his worst

Birds and that cringe s*** he made with quavo was miss over miss
Not one single song can stack up to the feeling you get from instrumentals like Never Catch Me, Impossible, 90210

you must've been in high school within less than 3 years ago if Juice is your idea of angst.
I grew up with this album so I reflect fondly on the artistic direction of Owl Pharaoh. OP is aggressive af in every aspect it's in general a angsty album
Owl Pharaoh is still the only Travis Scott project I can stand to listen to all the way through.

Lowkey I wished artists would make big records like Upper Echelon & Quintana, I gravitated to trap music because of these singles

You dumb as s*** im in my mid 20s
Juice WRLD captures angst and anxiety perfectly. The feeling of doom being right around the corner every moment. The constant fear and doubt of everything and everyone around you
I can't even explain why exactly because everybody who makes that type of music makes me cringe but with Juice it all felt very genuine
Angst: a feeling of deep anxiety or dread, typically an unfocused one about the human condition or the state of the world in general.
I feel this more with Juice WRLD than Owl Pharaoh by far. It's a great mixtape. But it doesn't feel angsty to me
