i was just relistening to kids see ghosts while I was doing lunch and it got in my feelings

this guy gave us for more 16 years straight classic after classic

no other artist never come close to it , after ye and cudi beefed I thought I would never see a collaboration between them again and we got not just fsmh but we got the brilliant ghost town and then we got kids see ghosts

my biggest dream as a kid was to listen to a full ye and cudi album and now I'm 27 and im listening to that s*** on repeat

we got everything we need <3

honestly how I see it. I still think as a fan it's important to criticize him and hold him accountable when the quality isn't up to par like his last two albums. However a lot of people overlook and under appreciate ye's contribution to not only hiphop but music.

yeah , but I dont know , I feel like he's free from the pressure of seeking perfection with every record , he already gave us so many classics, he has nothing to prove anymore , he just wants to put out music without spending 3000 man hours or something like that like he did on power

his packaging been subpar , artworks too , he clearly is on another space now , he has other things on his mind and im pretty sure the music right now is just an hobby

yes he wants to keep releasing albums but he's not gonna spend a year perfecting an album , even if he spends a year perfecting an album he's doing 5/6/7 even 20 other things at the same time

he's trying to make the world a better place and that's admirable

Even great artists like Bowie or Prince have released mediocre or garbage material. I dont think JIK or ye are as bad as people say but even if they were, its unrealistic to expect from anyone, even Kanye, that they 100% always deliver top notch albums. All artists have their highs and lows and people who stop being Kanye fans after just two "bad albums" are not looking at the bigger picture

JIK and Ye are the single most disappointing albums I’ve ever heard, Kanye is my GOAT so I expect nothing but greatness from him but he let me down with those two albums.
