Dudes are trolling just cuz it's Hov. They know it's good but won't admit it, they'll even use the phrase '4:44' as slang for a late career classic project
From the guy that said where yo balls at whoa
This is a super mature project
They all flowed so hard
And who the f*** is making beats like Q Tip man nobody can copy him on the work he did with this album. If there ever was an exemplary swan song/album it's this
The Last Zulu coming never
its a strange album because when I listen to it its amazing but at the same time I dont think I ever wanted to go back to it in the last few years. and whenever people are praising it I feel them but at the same time its a more lukewarm kind of praise, 'yeah its great' but thats it
idk what stops me from going back to it more often
We The People during the grammys
Absolutely incredible album from my favorite rap group of all time
My dream is for Outkast to come together and do one more this style
Now could you imagine if that tribe kast album happened oh lord

As far as I've seen OP, I don't really think KTT likes 4:44 like that which is puzzling to me because it's at the top of his discography
you say as far as you've seen but what have you seen
4:44 is generally regarded as a classic on here right? I mean im sure there's a couple of haters but that doesn't really mean s***, there's at least one hater for anything you bring up on ktt. Big picture, im pretty sure KTT respects 4:44 very much.
Tribes best album lowkey, legendary
if the low end theory and midnight marauders didn’t exist then yeah definitely

That's true, this is not really a recent thing for me to lay an example so my bad

It's debatable, IMO they clearly showed improvement in We Got It From Here but those two albums are just so strong + the cultural position they have is ridiculous
there is not a single comeback album as good as this sorry
I mean, it is and was when it dropped. A lot of vets have been doing their thing over the past several years and I’m loving it! Whether it’s 4:44, this, the new blackstar record, the Black Thought x Dangermouse joint dropping. Everybody has been in their bag just making good music no clout chasing trying to find a hit or go viral just good ass music with actual effort and meaning.
We The People during the grammys
This is incredible wow
Album better then 444 without the false stats and respectability politics about black folks jay z tried to preach
This is incredible wow
You hadnt seen it before?
Nooo I missed out on greatness it seems
Well now you're not
