They offer more than here in terms of content. Yes hate the users but you can’t hate the content you can exploit 🤷🏾‍♂️

Reddit is a great platform all around, people here want to feel superior and trash a platform that literally millions of people around the world use

Reddit great to get information on damn near anything but the upvote system and community on some subs is what ruins it

Eh from the things I’ve seen it’s a s***ty place. But people on here do tend to overdo their part. Because this place isn’t that much better if we’re being honest.

The community aspect on a lot of subs is absolutely garbage but it's one of the best places to find information from real people on a subject in 2020 since the vast majority of message boards are dead

Great platform tbh you just gotta find the right subs to go on.

The mental health ones are extremely supportive and helpful

it's really the popular subs that are terrible.

the specialized/hobby ones tend to be pretty chill and very useful.

also the like secondary subs to bigger subs (r/games and r/gamingleaksandrumours instead of r/gaming, r/flicks and r/true film instead of r/movies etc.)

yep, /r/truegaming and /r/games are 1000x better than /r/gaming. much more substantial discussion. throw in /r/patientgamers there too.

I'd add localized subs are pretty nice too (college, cities) but because of Corona a lot of state subs are messy now
