Idk, I mean like, I’d like to hear him release tapes where he just spits something hard, like how good he is at rapping, his success, bragging bout d*** game, or something, just regular rap s***, in between his major album statements.
What he’s saying and the ideas present are my favorite part of Mr. Morale, but I really wish someone as technically skilled as him would just experiment with flows and his ability to connect words without worrying about a theme more often
Like Eminem’s recent albums, just pack as many punchlines, double entendres, and hard bars in as possible and don’t worry about the song having a deeper message.
Admittedly, Em does this too much, and I’d like to see HIM go back to deeper statements, but it’s fun for a small side project or two

If you would’ve asked me in like 2017-18 I would’ve said Kendrick was better, had more upward potential, and was the better artist all around. Drake has made a lot of music I dislike since then, but also a lot of fantastic music. Kendrick has slowly disappeared from my listening in that same span of time, and now Drake has dropped a better album than for once so … 2022 I’d say Drake is the better artist.
