Chubby GambinoDenzel was in interviews confident about this album. He's had the title in his head since 2018. Thought it through this time and made an album from a genuine place of self reflection and growth. He was talking about how he deserves a Grammy, he probably believes this is his magnum opus
It's gotta sting seeing someone get a lot more attention and praise for discussing similar topics mainly because of reasons other than the music itself. If Kendrick gets AOTY and Denzel doesn't even get nominated for Best Rap Album, he gonna be hurt af. And yall can say "Fuck the Grammys, Grammys don't matter" all you want, it's still the biggest award in music

BRAVEOutbursts like these are why it’s hard for me to believe that some artists just “don’t care about mainstream success/hits”. I’m starting to wonder if mfs just can’t do it, and just opt for something else out of necessity
