Yeah man, nazis love rap music. You're onto something.

hip-hop has always been violent then when rappers try to give you message you dismiss them. Thankfully Kendrick has been able to do a balancing act.

  • Jul 3, 2020

Music (even violent music) is a form of entertainment. Same with watching violent movies or playing violent games. A rational person is able to understand this and not take it at face value.

True but to say it’s not influential is incorrect.

  • Jul 3, 2020

Rap has always been violent mainly because it started by artists rapping about what they see in the hood which is kinda like today but niggas lie a lot

  • Jul 3, 2020

I think he means it's just violence, and not based on race

  • Jul 3, 2020

That’s been the “generation” for more than 30 years now, you make it seem like rap has been recently corrupted or something

  • Jul 3, 2020

    Bruh said this generation

Nigga this been the norm since like 94

But our community isn’t ready to have this conversation because we seem to be incapable of accepting that both things can be true. We can acknowledge the root causes of our plight here in America and it’s generational affects while also accepting our role in perpetuating false narratives like our predisposition to violence in our communities.

Ain't no such thing as black on black violence.

  • Jul 3, 2020

Black on black violence doesn’t exist

It is a ignorant strongman rebuttal created by white supremacists & racists to take attention away from BLM & black empowerment

  • Jul 3, 2020

Music like that is a symptom not a source to the problem

  • Jul 3, 2020

    I blame music execs
