i think the two kinda can and do exist on the internet as of now. the internet is real, but it’s still treated with a whole lot fewer restrictions than participating in nondigital forms of society, at least in the west, making it feel less like “real life”. i guess that brings two options that i currently see w actualizing the current liberal-ish perspectives on this: 1 maybe it is possible in real life, if some of the internet’s freedom can be transferred to irl, or 2 maybe it’s not, as the internet is much more escapist than real life, and we should be wary of the “progress” that we see in recent forms of sexual liberation, which are mostly digital and currently have ambiguous consequences in real life

Same guys that say this are the same ones that say “if I was a girl I’d be making bank on only onlyfans”

Where is the common ground you’re looking for with being a sexualized society? I mean in some countries women can’t even go out without being escorted by a man or have to cover their face up...id rather live in a place where people have the freedom to do what they want.
