I am a mixed black race lightskin man.

Mixed race black people is still generally rare and was really just 10 or so years ago, but with it becoming more common their needs to be a focused serious group that is based on accountability and education

Most black mixed people in the past grew up with their black family in the past (like me), but now we are getting black mixed people that grow up without or have very little connection to their black side

This is creating issues, i.e. Myron, Sneako, Andrew Tate etc. - or very lightskin ppl that may be full black or close to it that are disconnected and their only black influence irl is their very immediate family

They grow up confused because no one really-really (in a general sense) accept mixed people people like black people - as a mixed or noticeable lightskin person of you're without your support, you become a pick me that is desperate for the "others". You start becoming a clown trying to appease other races, and try to distant yourself from black heritage and community even more than you unfortunately naturally ended up. You might even become an extreme that hates your black side, an even bigger extreme that disassociates from your black side.

• I can write about this even deeper, but this is the gist, and why a lightskin / mixed coalition accountability is important - preferably based on CA or the South imo, which is where specifically most black mixed people come from. I am from Oakland CA. Maybe even Arizona? There's a weird community of mixed people in AZ that end up moving and somehow finding each other there in Phx and Tucson lol after moving from places like the Bay, LA, NY, Detroit, Chicago, Texas, Atlanta etc.

I am now an outlier and its becoming very noticeable to me. I am lucky I grew up with my dad (black) till my teenage years (when my parents got a divorced and I still see em) and my mom (Irish and Italian). I am lucky I grew up majorly with my dad's side of the family. I am lucky that my dad's side of the family instilled in me and my siblings about us being black, history of black American people, being comfortable being mixed, and telling us the troubles that will come with being seen as just black in general, and then subsets that will hate you even more in other races and sometimes even your own black for being mixed. While telling us the whys and how comes, and to understand this unique, I guess, occurrence. (Which of course Oakland is also very black oriented along with some other places like Vallejo and Oakland is very important in black history so I grew up around others and thank God Bayarea actually teaches black history). I also grew up with some of white family, I love my white grandma just as much as my black grandma, my white grandma is a G and born of an Irish immigrant that smuggled them on boats to USA lol. Some of my white family is accepting of us, and some of them are not, this is also good experience. Any rip to both sides of grandparents, I love them dearly.

• This needs to be instilled into lightskin and mixed black people (and not just white mixed obviously). And I guess "emotion" support or some s***. AND example of someone living mostly living with their white side and kinda hating themselves but then coming to accept themselves and rebuking that old behavior is someone like modern Doja Cat. Who is a near extreme case. If her Reddit and 4Chan ass can come out the hypnosis then so can others, if they're caught early enough.

Also my tidbits of AZ. I'm from CA Bayarea and most of my black family is from there. While some of my white family is from there and Nevada. I moved to AZ for chronic health reasons (and the housing crash of 2008) shout out Mayo clinic for keeping the heart beating. With many visits and long stays in CA to this day.

In AZ I met many other mixed kids lol that are from all the over the place in USA and some that became some of best friends and we joke about how a bunch of mixed ended up in one place. Black dad and Puerto rican mom from NYC, black mom and white dad from Chicago, Mexican dad and black mom from Texas - then me, black dad white mom from Bayarea CA 💀
