Chigs intro about content ending up on his channel
Slaughterhouse would’ve definitely had a place in rap if they came out in this era and during this Griselda, Neo-Dust era.
Tbh yeah their 3rd album Glass House would’ve been Griseldaesque from what I heard. Definitely would’ve found some big success later if they had just stuck around a couple more years.
Nooo f***ing cap all my lil homies would talk about big Sean and wiz Khalifa and j cole n I would be like yeah but Joel Ortiz is real rap
this makes your present gimmick make a whole lotta sense now
My top 5 oat used to be slaughterhouse members and a tie between Yelawolf and Em

everybody had a "real rap" era at one point or another

Definitely thank God mine was in like 4th and 5th grade. But I really thought the rappers I listened to were like the realistic of reals. Like Joel Ortiz > Biggie type opinions. I was ready to die on the hill that Joel Ortiz was the best rapper dead or alive. Gucci, Waka, n keef saved me tho. Flockavelli dropped and I haven't really been the same since.

neo dust era lol
This type of rap feels so outdated to me their flow is way to textbook or something i have the same issue when i hear Joe Budden rap.
They have no flavor to it even the song structure is straight out of a rapping for dummies book.
Royce the only one i can say whose music i truly enjoy out of Slaughterhouse
There so many more rappers who are lyrics based and their music and just style in general is miles ahead Griselda for example

Nah their s*** is so stale bruh listen to the song in op that sounds like it came out in 2007. The video has some random white dudes burning the merch like wtf going on. Griselda is using different type of beats have unique flows not this textbook insert R&B singer hook here type of songs

yup, royce has become a better songwriter over the years.
Still disappointed in how he was acting when him and lupe was going at it.
didn't know he was like that. But glad they moved past it
