What’s maddening to me is, that in the entire country of Canada, you can literally smoke a joint in front of a cop & he’d be like “shit, puff puff pass?”.

You cross the border and even smell like weed? You’re getting pistol whipped & incarcerated for like 5 years. It’s mental.

I've seen people smoke joints and vapes in front of cops many times and I've never seen anyone care if you're outside and not in a crowded area

I think he means to smoke in public. In Canada you can smoke marijuana anywhere you are allowed to smoke tobacco. Technically public use isn’t allowed in Cali still.
