    just curious do you know all these artists you list in this thread week for week @provider ? or from where do you gather the info about who is dropping each week?

    a bunch of different sources - wiki, music twitter pages, publications, rym, reddit, etc. but yeah most of those i list are artists and bands that i recognize

    holy holy is probably one of my favorite songs of the year, so fun and creative. took a minute to grow on me. never really got into black midi heavy but i'm listening to their stuff today.

    listened to the new Leon Bridges last night. he's objectively good, i just never really connect to his stuff as a whole. there were a few standouts tho, i really liked this tune.

    something i'm finding with the newer pop musicians...the ballads and slow songs are almost always the low point of pop albums for me these days. felt this way playing Chappell's album yesterday too.

    who are some pop artists y'all think are writing great ballads right now? the goat Lana Del Rey of course, that's her bag and she excels at it. Billie, ironically since i'm bringing this up after hearing FINNEAS album, also has a few good ballads.

    something i'm finding with the newer pop musicians...the ballads and slow songs are almost always the low point of pop albums for me these days. felt this way playing Chappell's album yesterday too.
