drinking tea listening to this new MIKE. happy new music friday

i remember Burning Desire hitting pretty immediately for me, but this new MIKE seems to be passing right thru me at the moment.

i've never listened to a mike project that hit on the first listen... except burning desire so i gotta give this one some time as well lol

i guess that rings pretty true for me too. MIKE is cool, but i think i just really liked Burning Desire more than i like MIKE lol. production is great tho

Burning Desire was the first MIKE album that really worked for me. then I went back and listened to his discography and i found some other albums that i really enjoy as well (Beware of the Monkey and disco!) but i don't know, he can still be very hit or miss for me sometimes

now i'm like, let me spin Burning Desire and make sure i'm not trippin. f*** it, i'm about to lol

man sometimes i be listening to Burning Desire like... "hmm i thought i liked this album more"

I really think you gotta be in the right mood for his stuff sometimes
