Am I blind or is there not a thread for that album? Honestly might be my rap album of the year so far

Checked out the YHWH Nailgun due to all the hype. It didn't translate for me. The drums were pretty wild but that's about it. I liked the outro on "Blackout." What you think about it?

The appeal of Nailgun for me is they're similar to death grips but lean closer to the chaotic side of hyperpop, though they're firmly noise rock but in a weird new wave kind of way

I found them months ago clicking through "fans also like" artists on Spotify, not sure why/how this album started getting traction like it did

Yeah I've seen Death Grips mentioned in comparison a lot, I've never really listened to them either.

I think its ironic the vocals sound more like the sister project to death grips, the ilys, though the instrumentals sound like middle to late era death grips too

you might like the ilys the most of the three, its a lot less choatic or weird
