MAJID JORDAN - GOOD PEOPLE

this is a completely different vibe from Wildest Dreams and for that I'm thankful. much more in my lane. it's a slow burn and doesn't reach the highs of those first two projects, but it's good for what they're going for.

the Slip-Violet-The Message run dragged for me, why those vocal fx on Violet? i think i'd like the song way more without em. favorites are probably Tears in Your Eyes, Cyanide and Sunset is a beautiful outro.

not sure how much i'll listen to them just due to the sheer amount of music being released these days, but Roy, Naomi and MJ all did not disappoint OVO SOUND SOUND SOUND

but this right here? YEAH. SHE WENT OFF. THE SUBJECT MATTER. THE VISUALS. this how you enter a new stage of your artistry and craft. this and her recently being freed from her legal battles with her label makes me very excited to see where she's going next. BRAVO

2nd album in 6 months, and this one doesn't slack. a few great tunes: my little tony, worlds greatest emoter, calm down with me, Brush w Faith. the music on Shoo is some of my favorite on the whole album but Nina's vocals sometimes...I can't lol. now I gotta revisit Tracey Denim and see which I prefer

sidenote, they have two of my favorite album covers this year tbh. they just look like classics. raw af
