Both RnB crooners, passionate of sad/love songs, with some pretty timeless songs. (Massari's debut album, as for Abel, his mixtapes, and the occasional tracks through the years)

One from Ethiopia, the other from Lebanon. Both lived, and made career in Canada.
Both are friends with Montana, both are xlose collaborators with Belly, DaHeala, Sal.

And both capable of also making good pop tracks too. (For Massari, some examples Be Easy, Brand New Day)

And on Starboy, at the 2:21 minute mark Abel uses a flow very similar, if not identical to Massari's; (check the 0:05 timestamp on the track embedded above, titled "So Long"... Also, for further research and dancing-in-your-room, check "Be Easy")

    Why haven't they collabed yet?
    Cause they are both negligent.

    It's mind boggling.

The waters are too troubled between Abel and Drake for a collab LP, but Massari can be a close second, with fantastic potential.

They can both bring the best out of each other.

Abel could use the challenge. He's at a point of his career where the next step is to consider to explore the waters of collab projects. And switch up the sound a bit, maybe go back to his roots. Be it his RnB beginnings of 2011... Or deeper, with Arabic sounds. And Massari can reflect that same energy. Plus, this way Massari would come out of hiatus.

Love songs so sweet, or soft sunny tracks, or even dance?

Damn, they can become a duo to give Silk Sonic a run for their money!

PS. Two cuts from Massari I would suggest are Real Love (you know this one), and Inta Hayati (to me his magnum opus, one of the best songs ever released, and I've ever heard. A brilliant mix of the beautiful arabic sounds with the english/western.
Just play it, LOUD, cause it's too beautiful to describe it in words)

Edit. Make it 4 tracks. "Be Easy", along with Real Love are his two biggest hits commercialy wise. "Be Easy" is a dance/party track still sounding as fresh as it did in 2005. Best enjoyed loud.

This for the party/pop track. Now for an emotional, love track.
"Gone Away", a minimalist, as in "less is more" acoustic guitar track. Very sweet, sad, longing for his lover. Abel's got one acoustic song too, "Shameless".

Listening to Inta Hayati right now, and it’s pretty good, thanks for putting me on OP. I also certainly hear some Able chemistry in this too. Wouldn’t mind a collab

fire post, real canadian TBT s***

the whole story goes back almost two decades now -
Massari was originally signed around 2006 to CP Records,

CP Records was founded by Sal (now CEO of XO Records and Weeknd's co-manager) and Belly originally - Cash (Weeknd's other co-manager) was their first real hire at the label bc he was homies with Belly

crazy that all this time later Sal/Cash/Belly are still linked, and their original effort as CP Records (now SALXCO) manages Weeknd, Doja Cat, Diddy, Metro, French, and more
