kinda reminds me of how Smile 2 and TRAP were both genre films that were inspired by Era's tour and pop stars, their fanbase, their influence, their lives etc.

But this one is with a fictionalised weeknd played by himself.

looks cool for what it is imo. horror/thriller about a pop star with surreal visuals and sequences.

only thing up in the air is if weeknd can pull it off as an actor and on screen presence because jenna/barry are going to be great as always

and the album with the 'i can't f***ing sing' skit is meant to be part of the film but that also obviously happened irl too with that concert he couldn't finish
