Are Ween one of the most underrated bands of the 90s/2000s? I think so! They can be silly sure but that just makes it hit extra hard when they go fully sincere. They've tackled so many styles and it nearly always works. Incredible guitar playing too

In
Closing trio of The Mollusk is actual perfection
Chocolate & Cheese blew my mind when I was 15, made me want to write my own songs
Never listened to them because of those disgusting album covers, perfectly exemplified by OP.

White Pepper is super accessible, listen to the first few tracks off that and see how you're feeling
The Mollusk is their most solid album, but a lot of younger fans seem to connect with Quebec the most because of its dark psychedelia and focus on mental illness

Either The Mollusk or Chocolate & Cheese. Maybe also GodWeenSatan: The Oneness; it’s weird but still more accessible than The Pod or Pure Guava.
