after blue album weezer were gonna make a space rock opera concept album but rivers cuomo went crazy at harvard and made pinkerton instead. it was gonna have a whole story about space travel and feature a lot of synths similar to weezer side project the rentals. it was also going to feature a number of shorter songs/skits to help tell the story.

many of the songs are available through deluxe releases of pinkerton and rivers cuomo vault releases. a few songs intended for the project made it on to pinkerton also (tired of sex, getchoo). there are tracklists out there and you can form your own version of the album from leaks and releases since.
