Random but- after Sep 27 came and went and the album didn’t drop, I decided to work on some music the next day and was inspired but Ye so was flipping through some obscure gospel samples I had thrifted/stuff on YouTube.

I made a song sampling God Is. started the exact same way. When I heard JIK I freaked because I thought somehow, someway, he had gotten mine lol. His flip later is totally different. I just thought that was so f***ing random. I can post screengrabs of my hardrive with ProTools session creation dates for proof. And my flip I guess, I’m more of an indie/pop producer than hip hop, I just thought the story was interesting.
