    usatoday.com/story/money/food/2020/09/01/wendys-pretzel-bacon-pub-cheeseburger-beer-cheese/5681624002

In a blog post, Wendy's said it went through 18 different revisions of the beer cheese sauce to "get that perfect amount of bitterness that compliments the other sweet and savory ingredients of the sandwich" and screened more than 10 beers.

    THIS CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT

I'm not gonna lie. 2020 is saved. This was all I needed. This was the light at the end of the tunnel. I'm seriously in tears right now I still can't believe I'm typing this out. Them Wendys chefs mustve been in the lab all quarantine tryna perfect this s***. I first tried this burger in 6th grade thinking it was gonna be wack and it was just a novelty item. Turned out to be the most delicious thing I've ever tasted. I've been to really nice bar&grills and spent $25 on a burger, and I'm telling yall this Wendys burger S***S on everything else.

Just remembering the way the honey mustard tasted on the bacon is making my mouth water I've been dreaming of this day for the past 7 years of my life. I probably google it 3-4 times a year just to see a picture of it. Tonight I was doing the same and saw these news articles and broke down

I'm so f***ing excited to try this I'm gonna go as soon as I get the time. I might be setting the bar too high but I know I won't be disappointed. Wendys is the goat fast food restaurant for this. They could put this on a menu with 15 piles of excrement from assorted animals and they'd still be the best

I remember getting hired at Wendy's when they first introduced pretzel buns. New employees get one free item of their choice when you're hired, and I made sure I got the triple bacon pretzel bun cheese burger...

Then two and a half years later when I put in my last two weeks, I waited until the last 15 minutes of my shift to make myself five free pretzel bun burgers, pretzel spicy chicken sandwiches (all with a scoop of chilli, cheese sauce and extra bacon), a large vanilla frosty, chilli cheese bacon fries and an entire bag of nuggets (50 nuggets), stole a whole bun of candied pecans and all the dips and dressing, all while the shift lead was in his office.

I hated that job, sandwiches were fire though.

So glad I left right before they started introducing the "4 for 4" deal. I can't imagine how miserable those employees are now.

Stay in school and get your degree people.

My favorite thing was when a customer would be short money or their card declined, so they had to take the food back.

    Free lunch

I remember getting really into root beer and Dr. Pepper when I worked there.

Also would make "Strawberry Sprite Iced Tea".

Fun Fact: The strawberry syrup used in the lemonade is the same one they used to put in their Frostys, back when you could get a frosty mixed with either fudge sauce, caramel or strawberry.

I can attest to @OP statement on the honey mustard btw, it's their best sauce. Used to put it on EVERYTHING!

Not to be confused with the one that comes with a order of nuggets, that's a completely different and inferior honey mustard.
