I left Austin at the start of the pandemic both because that city sucks and because I needed to help care for my grandmother here in the sprawl of Indianapolis. Been here since and saved a s***load of money on rent, but now that she’s in assisted living, I’m planning a move to Boston to live near my sister (found a solid roommate situation too which would make it much more affordable as long as it doesn’t fall through) in the fall.
