My point is that those are people in the music industry with massive platforms saying that. It wasn't just fans. The goalposts we're already moved for Kendrick. Drake dropped Push Ups and Taylor Made Freestyle and was called desperate and spiralling. Kendrick dropped euphoria and 6:16 in LA and was called as genius. Do with that what you will.

They always love to ignore this part of the history. That album flopped. The Hillbillies with Baby Keem dropped with a whole music video and flopped (their first collab to do so). He jumped on a Beyoncé remix which flopped as well. Nothing was sticking till he got on Like That dissing Drake and boom! Magical support from nowhere lmao. Drops some more disses going at Drake and boom! More magical support. Now let's wait and see what his next album does since his fans seem to think this magical support is here to stay and that the whole world now hates Drake thanks to Not Like Us.

we’re not witnessing the drake fall off. we’re witnessing the decline/fall off of rap music. sales have been dropping for a while now, for every big artist.
