I can’t stand Wes Andersons cheesy ass style. Oh hoy skip diddly doo ass dialogue + smirky quirky performances ain’t for me
This one is pretty extreme..
I'm not trying to be a hater, but....
I'm very much over Wes Anderson's style. All his movies feel the same, and when he first popped with Rushmore and Royal Tenenbaums, I was all about it. It was great, it was unique, and it was hilarious in a very deadpan way. When Life Aquatic came out, I was lining up at the cinema. But now that he's still, 20 years later, filming in the same style... I can't get into it anymore. Moonrise Kingdom was the last film of his I watched. And it was good... I'm not even saying his movies became bad. They are just too familiar, too much of the same style, even if the plots are unique.
This trailer looks good if you're still into wes anderson. I am not.
still haven’t seen his last movie was it any good
grand budapest hotel and Moonrise Kingdom are two of my favorite movies ever
its in the top 3 for me personally
super in. love the setting and the idea of a wes alien movie is just too good.
only complaint tho is this trailer makes it seem like some of the new actors for wes are trying a little too hard to give a "wes anderson movie" performance.
i do wish wes collaboarted with jeffrey wright earlier tho. god damn do they fit well together
I just dont understand wes anderson
nothing about all the actors showing no emotion makes me want to watch his movies

watch royal tenanbaums
earlier wes before he really really leaned into his style, but also is genuinely very tender and has lots of heart
“That’s an alien doing jumping jacks, that’s an alien in a top hat…”
People who think Wes is too far up his own ass ain’t gonna like this one, but it looks funny and cool to me. I don’t think he’s ever made a bad film.
I don’t really get the criticism that Wes stopped making movies that have heart. Pretty much everything he’s done has moments that hit me in the gut. Isle of Dogs pry does this least successfully.

only Dispatch for me. i respect the attempt but he wound up deeper up his own ass than any director has since Aronofsky did The Fountain.
