Other than that I’ve seen French Dispatch, Aquatic Life, & half of Moonrise Kingdom. I think Aquatic Life has been the most boring to me

The deadpan delivery adds to a lot of the comedy IMOFacts it’s just personal preference.
Some like writing they characters to be emotional inept
Me personally I prefer writing characters who’s emotionally crazy
But I can still appreciate Wes or Yargos style even tho they opposite to me wit the deadpan s***

I know he loves his type of humor but I’d love to see him take on someone else’s script with his directing style one day

It honestly reminded me the most of The Life Aquatic and The Darjeeling Limited, feels a bit more wilderness years and less definitive than say, The Grand Budapest Hotel
