The Swan bored the crap out of me but Henry Sugar was good
When are the other ones coming out?
First one was better but this one was cool. They’re kinda nostalgic, reminds me of those short stories you read in your reading class as kids

Next two “Rat Catcher” tomorrow & “Poison” Saturday
Rat Catcher made me fall asleep. Gonna watch the rest then the last one.
First two were brilliant imo

Yeah, Ray Catcher was a dud
Poison is the best one tho
Powerful
Might even like it more than Asteroid City
Watched them all, I liked them. Halfway through the Swan I noticed I already knew the story from when I was young. Don’t get the meaning of Rat Catcher and Poison tho tbh

My mom used to read me and my sister Roald Dahl books when I was young. Good times
Apparently Poison is about shellshock
Benedict Cumberbatch’s reaction at the end felt like someone traumatized and insane, I had a feeling it might be about the period, and about the effects of war, and about a certain fear / anxiety in men
But I somehow completely missed the racism when I watched it
It’s interesting that he‘s forced to stay completely still, with a contorted, angry, twitching face, as someone he judges as inferior attempts to save his life
About to binge all of this
Did this yesterday, it was pretty good.
I liked this little anthology a lot more than I did Asteroid City, honestly.
Henry Sugar was trash
The Rat Catcher was fun
The Swan was funny
Poison was trash
Benedict Cumberbatch continues to define mediocrity. Wes' political era is bordering on M Night territory. Nobody is looking to you for answers!
