Not sure he had a “scheme,” but he executive produced most Griselda albums, designed all their merch, and got them signed by Shady (which was terrible in retrospect, but still got them buzz) as well as Roc Nation.

Basically he singlehandedly got them recognized by a wider audience while maintaining their sound/ethos

I like artists doing this but it’s hard because chances are WSG doesn’t have an MBA and can’t run the business side of it at the level needed so then what does he do?

I think that artists should be working closely with label execs and/or existing business people to create companies to make the industry better though
These guys understand what’s needed on the industry better than anyone ofc they should get input
