And LGBTQ people are also being murdered on camera. Trans people, especially black trans people, are killed and ostracized everyday. Do you think they're not going through struggles right now? Or do you just not care. Like I said in my post it's about minimizing the discrimination and educating people. It's a hard fact that education and awareness about a topic can change minds. It's only a couple generations back that people thought women shouldn't vote now the majority of the population has dropped those types of views. Does sexism still exist? Yes but the power sexists have has been minimized and education has decreased their number. To dismiss any push for change as hopeless is just another facet of upholding the oppressive status quo.
