Showtime at the Apollo broom worthy, and this coming from somebody that likes the album... but no top 5s were smoked on with that
I would agree with that in the sense I was expecting that energy which kinda had me disappointed first listen but for me it grew on me once I got over it
Dude didnt follow up with that smoking on top 5 energy for 3 years

Smacked VoodooI love the album and still go back to it often, but yeah.
S*** really came and went cause dude hardly did much to promo it. Tour was cool but he had to cut it short due to health. It be like that, but he then went on to do absolutely nothing with keeping it in the public conscious. They still submitted it to the Grammys though
Idc I still throw on a good chunk of this album, the fake movie s*** just soured the whole thing tho

That album had so much hype with the Samsung deal, commercials with Timbo and Pharrell geeking out, Jay being in that weird art show for a video, and dropping a hit with JT at his peak.
Album was a big deal but, I swear, as soon as 2014 came, niggas just straight up forgot this album existed lol.
Tbh, the song with Ross is the only real standout anyway. And Jay was rapping so dumbed down that Drake on NWTS sounded like Nas by comparison.

Sep 24, 2025this year: definitely $$$4U and Music. I hate to say but also: Hurry Up Tommorow, Ballonnerism, Life is Beautiful and Jonatan. Even new Clipse album and Alfredo 2 also came and went for me at some point
