Stantm4444I don’t like the idea of Taylor re-recording her stuff nor do I want Drake to do the same. All Taylor had to do was sign a different deal where she would get her master’s. She willfully decided not to do that for more money I believe. It’s so unnecessary

KlausNone tbh. I think he got worse at singing, I ain't trynna hear all my favorite singing songs all auto-tuned and s***. And he definitely don't be sounding as hungry as he used to so the raps won't be as charismatic and energetic.

What? That makes no sense Young money songs dont even come close to being worth 100million. Wayne sold his/ YM percentage of every YM artists' master for sure. Granted I am sure Drake owns a substantial portion of his masters and as a result has no reason to re-record his old albums

It wouldn't work cause his voice didn't necessarily sound worse then. Usually a singer/rapper's voice peaks and is more favorable in their 20s. 30s and 40s is when their voice gets kinda worse.
Taylor started releasing albums as a teenager when she had messy shaky vocals so re-records work for those earlier albums.
Also for a rapper I think a re-record would only be ideal if the production for the original project was very cheap/dated sounding. Rather than focusing on a new voice, updating some badly aging production could potentially really work well. Like some of the underground mixtapes that rappers do before blowing up with very cheap production would probably be much better once updated with a better budget and production.
