I was wondering what are some ways artist can set themselves apart from others with the way music is dropped.

My idea was to have an unlisted function when you upload music to AM or Spotify. And only send the album link to a select few people and let the album spread naturally.

Probably easier to do for independent artists because they are not worried about recouping the money for the label.
