Yeah its the action of speaking fast with lil thinking that trips me up. Not all the time but i notice it happens every now and then.

The thing that’s really interesting to me is how regional accents seem like they can be dormant.
Something I’ve noticed with my dad the past few years is that whenever he’s talking to somebody else with a southern accent, his own is much more prominent than at any other point in time, idk if he feels more comfortable talking like that around them or if it’s subconscious or what
