I say that as someone with functional depression that is bout to get back into therapy a 2nd time in a month (shortened waiting list
)
Example: Made a new dealbreaker few months ago I’m no longer dealing with highly depressive (note: HIGHLY) and highly anxious potential partners.
I been through that s*** man, truly a soul draining experience for anyone.
loooool i said this on ktt once and i got crucified for it
Alcohol f***ing sucks tho when u start drinking daily and by yourself it's so hard to come back from it
2015 for sure IMO
the rise of trump really started f***ing w people's heads
people kinda got emboldened when obama won his second term but it really amped up once he was about to leave and trump started to be taken seriously as a politician (in the sense he had people to actually vote for him)
The rise of trump as well as people's relationship with social media started changing too.
A lot of the s*** we complain about now the seeds of it were planted back then
vapes are 1000x harder to quit than cigarettes
Fr people I know who vape be vaping all the time like in bed, while they eat, while they do anything really it's like if you had a cig that never stopped burning s***s crazy

it's all intertwined, i think people's relation to social media around that time is what propelled him into the spotlight
2014/2015* imo
That's a respectable opinion, it's honestly somewhere around those cluster of years. 2013-2015 there were so many things that sort of "laid out" the groundwork of the mess were in today. The biggest tipping point has to be the Trump election though, and also it's important to note that in 2013:

2014 was the start of Gamer Gate (arguably what led to the culture war we are in today)
2015 was when Trump announced his campaign.

yeah the convenience of it is the real kicker. with a cigarette i would actually have to go outside and light up and it was a thing you had to do...with vapes i can be literally ANYWHERE and get my nicotine fix WHENEVER i want...makes it literally impossible to quit because at this point it's hardwired into my daily schedule
Oh yeah it's still very much deeply ingrained in a lot of cultures, I mean im French so I know exactly what it's like but it feels like there's a shift happening with younger generations maybe
I feel like a big part of why it's not looked down on as much as it should is that it's a very profitable industry
Oh yeah, so in France they definitely drink a lot more than the USA, right? It seems really ingrained in European culture even compared to America. But yeah! That's correct. The younger generations spend less time drinking which is a good thing.

Vaping is an epidemic in the US. There are kids who are as young as 12 years old getting hooked on that garbage.

Maybe u said it in a hurtful way lol

even younger unfortunately
Maybe u said it in a hurtful way lol
probably did honestly. was coming out of a relationship with a woman who was one of those "if you break up with me ill kill myself" types and i was just so frustrated and angry
even younger unfortunately
You serious?
My cousin was born in 2009 and last I heard he was puffing on that garbage in 2021. These kids now are seriously having an epidemic with that trash. The thing is also that the marketing of those stupid e-cigs too is attractive to kids, it's really f***ed.
Or they smart with they money. That goes for all genders lol
“It aInT TrIcKing If U gOt iT” really encourages financial irresponsibility
that s*** only exist for the twitter birds who wanna be like a Ari or jayda wayda, which is what clubs now is full of lmao

I was in junior year of highschool when juul blew up, like 2017 and literally id say half of my class had a juul. Its insane the grasp they had on us

Yeah like with regular cigs it's already pretty f***ing crazy how much of a habit it becomes when u do stuff outside but like that's just turning it up to 11,
vapes are 1000x harder to quit than cigarettes
i feel this is relative tbh

dude its a million times worse now
i was also a junior when juuls blew up and now the majority of high schoolers and tons of middle schools are addicted to elf bars and lavas and s***

Yah being French and a non drinker is kind of an oxymoron
Also pulpy orange juice > smooth orange juice
Correct take
