I like multiplayer games that aren’t competitive where you’re just hanging out with other people like VRChat, old community TF2 servers, Gmod etc. it’s alot more fun than just entering a game and either losing or dying and getting to another server

Do you mean rural living or suburbs? Because rural living (which I experience) is deliberately socially isolating and a different thing entirely. Although I have my own social network here, I can say that growing up it would be tough to raise a family out here who primarily don't have easy access to go out and explore.

Suburban living is different, you're still around people. There is a local community but the way that it is designed makes it feel alienated. You're still next to neighbors and parks or whatever. You just need a car to get around (in most suburbs at least).
