No trust me, it's one of the most highly acclaimed sci-fi short stories of all time written by Asimov the legend. No prank.
The biggest mistake humans make is trying to understand God.
Humans created the idea of god itself tho
the universe is getting smaller and is eventually going to collapse on us

Interesting theory. Wild if God is really just a computer that we invented trillion years ago

Story starts out with humans basically inventing AI via computers. They ask the AI "how can we prevent the end of the universe" and the computer (ac) goes "bruh no clue". Each section jumps forward in time by millions or billions of years and shows another group of humans asking the even more advanced ac "yo how do we stop this entropy s***" and each time the ac is like "dude, big question, still don't know".
Eventually all the trillions of men have fused with the ac and there is nothing at all left in existence. All the energy has run out, all the matter is utterly still. And finally the ac had the answer to the question that it had been asked again and again. But now there was no one to tell it to. It couldn't tell anyone, it just had to show them. And so it created everything in an instant.
