Every game has different problems, but are there any common denominators between most, if not all of them?
Writing in most of them is s*** tier.
they are all dopamine click farms designed for addiction with insidious monetization this is why i only play classic wow private servers. activision are not getting my moneys
Lack of content because it's being held for a dlc. Bring back the good days of unlocking stuff just by doing s*** in the game

Lot of issues people are talking itt are really pretaining to just one game type or the big 3 of ass called EA, Activision & Blizzard.
Multiple deluxe versions of the same game that keep increasing by 20 dollars.
Even a lot of hardcore/focused single player games have this issue. Even some Nintendo games have this issue.
S*** is super ass. Especially the digital versions.
Esports transforming gaming from hobby to toxic community. Like if I have to refer to numerous online guides and other resources in order to get good at a game, I’d rather not play. I love gaming but it isn’t my only hobby. If I’m dedicating hours everyday in order to compete with the kids I’d rather just dedicate that time and effort to other hobbies tbh. Not trying to grind street fighter 5 hours a day to get master rank. I’m not doing all that. and developers “overdeveloping” their games in order to stay modern. For instance drive rush and drive impact did not need to be in street fighter. Not only this but why the hell would do certain characters has certain strong abilities that others characters don’t. Apex has this problem as well in that some characters are playing one game while others are playing another. Game loses credibility as a competitive game imo they developers do this
Ludonarrative dissonance, if you have basically any degree of freedom in gameplay vs any degree of story, it's incredibly easy to act in ways that wouldn't make sense for your character
I loved The Last of Us 2, but I'd find myself retreating to look for items in situations where 'in character' I'd be running frantically in the other direction
I don't really think there's any way to fix this besides extreme railroading which feels opposed to the interactivity of the medium, so I think it's something that'll always be there
