Concise to me aint about length more the way the individual songs come together to make an album

This is just misunderstanding the definition of the word “concise” and not a different interpretation of the word

in the case of what i posted, in rainbows is 10 tracks 42 minutes and generally regarded by fans of the band as a skipless album. so there just must be a track or two you don't like off of it, which is fine lol

I ain’t even mad that we only got 12 tracks after 14 years. This is the definition of high quality.

wouldn't say either is perfect despite bot having some outstanding songs tbh

both aren't really albums either so it makes sense

i think we can give a little more leeway to hip-hop, which often tends towards long-ass albums (and mixtapes!)

for instance to me Yeezus is def the album where kanye (whose albums to that point are all pretty long) best balances conciseness and overall quality

in many genres that would just describe a normal/standard album but i'd argue for its concision
