if it was just the wall texture it would have probably been seen as too similar to the beatles white album cover when it came out tbh. whether it would have been a better cover or not

Mmm maybe, but i disagree since Beatles is just a flat color & this one is actual tecture & a pictire of actually something.

But yeah maybe it would have, especially if we're back then & much of what you know is by just thumbing thru records.
