beat it yesterday. cute little game with a ton of grinding, but I didn’t mind it. replaying Earthbound again and then Mother 3.

Stunning game that I enjoyed taking in the atmosphere/visuals more than actually playing it (as a Remedy stan, it hurts to say this )

2nd playthrough, doing Golden Deer route this time and trying to actually do the supports. So good. Easily one of the best Switch games

How is it?

Not bad, just really boring. Think Imma drop this. I don't like the puzzle structure, the combat is also eh. Story wise I'm not that invested in Kratos and the dynamic with his son. Might revisit one day and see if anything changes in my perception

What didn't you like about it

Combat felt like a slog to get through, especially Alan’s sections.
They improved on this aspect a little in the DLC.

I preferred the combat in AW1 & American Nightmare more surprisingly.

What part you get to

Not very far. It was just after Kratos meets Brok for the first time and Kratos ventures into that area with spike doors. If I was at least curious about where the story goes, I'd have kept going. Just felt like I was slogging through it all the way
