20 hours in and I reckon it’s good game

Don’t know if the story is gripping me like other obsidian titles

Just finished 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim; brilliant game and a straight up love letter to science fiction. You can see a lot of the twists coming once you realise that the game is setting out to subvert all of its sci-fi tropes, but it’s still very satisfying to see how all of the narrative elements come together (especially through the nonlinear way in which the story is told).

I can see why Yoko Taro praised 13 Sentinels; the game is quite similar to Nier in both subject matter and especially in the way it experiments with how video games deliver narrative.

Replaying Resident Evil 1 on Real Survival mode (basically hard mode and none of the item boxes are connected). I dont remember most of the s*** in this game so it's gonna take me like a year to get through this.
