Wasn't too hard once u figure out the spell rotation. Also auron magic break helps a ton

yea that was a really tricky fight, third phase seymour oneshot pretty much everyone in my crew before magic break
tbh i rotate between everyone really consistently but if i had to pick a top 3 id say auron, yuna and lulu
Dave the Diver - 7/10
It drags a little bit toward the end, but I was impressed with how much content it had. Nice steady pacing of new activities that's drip fed to you throughout the game, and the gameplay loop of fishing --> sushi bar actually stays fresh and fun for a decent amount of time. Navigating some of the side stuff like running your own farm feels a little tedious but you don't have to spend enough time doing that stuff for it to detract too much from the experience.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution - 5/10
Navigating the map and having different paths to take based on your character build was cool. Had way more fun doing that stuff than anything that involved interacting with enemies, whether stealthily or not steathily.
Cuphead - 8/10
I rage-quit this a year ago when I got stuck on Dr. Kahl's Robot and then beat him and the rest of the game in like 4 hours after I finally re-downloaded it. Great gameplay and charming aesthetic.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 3rd - 7/10
Actually my favourite out of the Trails in the Sky trilogy. Navigating the world map in the previous two games was kind of a slog in my opinion, so having the a central hub that lets you teleport straight into various dungeon crawls was really nice.
Citizen Sleeper - 7/10
Awesome writing. Awesome music. The beginning of the game feels pretty oppressive and s***ty rolls are backbreaking, forcing you to think hard about how to best spend your limit resources and what you can afford to spend time doing or not spend time doing. Sometimes you almost feel like you have to take a high-risk high-reward option in hopes that it will pay off and you can survive another day. A lot of that tension disappears toward the end of the game though when you're practically rolling in resources.
Pyre - 7/10
I think Pyre understands what, in my opinion, makes sports so appealing. The journeys of the players, their relationships with their teammates and rivals, their hopes and dreams, and the rise and fall of teams and the history written of those events are all what give meaning to sports. Pyre spends just as much, if not more time on the human aspect of sport than the sport itself, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Titanfall 2
Warhammer 40k rogue trader
The game is pretty low budget and still a bit buggy on release but the writing and gameplay carries hard. I am increndibly invested
Replaying OG Diablo, this time on single-player. Gotta love the horror vibes. Playing as a sorcerer is fun as hell. I don't even have the OP stuff and I'm managing quite well. About, like, 30% through. I hope Diablo 2: Resurrected drops on sale soon 'cause I was so excited when I saw the trailers for that and it's apparently really good!
gonna cop dj hero
wanted that game ever since it came out and never got it

I’m f***ing with it. The combat system took some getting used to for me, it kinda plays like an MMO, where you’re constantly watching for cooldowns and repositioning yourself to use the best moves at the right time. Good soundtrack. I’m only about 3 or 4 hours in, the story so far seems decent at minimum, but I’ve heard that it's really good
My only beef—and it's a minor one—is that your party talks so much during fighting, to the point where they're just spouting out the same 5 or 6 phrases over each other, most of the time it just sounds like noise. Sometimes it's annoying and sometimes it's funny, depends on what mood I'm in
I'll also add that I'm a little addicted to the combat now. I don't mind getting into fights, unlike other jrpgs where constant encounters can feel like a slog
