you have to be genuinely re tarded to think "doesnt hide" and dropping infrequently are valid criticisms
“Doesn’t hide” is stupid as hell as a criticism.
I think not dropping could be valid if over their career they drop so little that they don’t have much of a catalogue. Like if they only drop 2 albums and both are great then that’s awesome but I’m going to give the edge to an artist who has 2 great albums and 2 good albums or 3 great albums or whatever.
This is not a valid argument against Kendrick though.
I also think artists who rarely drop music are given a big benefit of people elevating their work higher on the basis being desperate for/deprived of content and nostalgia. So I do think holding back music can be a tactic.
