Y’all want the sauce!? Stock 😳😳. Vsts are amazing don’t get me wrong, but you can get so much out of the stock with whichever daw you’re using. Logic has some insanely dope effects and synths. Sample delay on logic makes your snares sound like sex, overdrive is a rly good distortion that also doubles as a soft clipper if you know how to use it, binaural processing is super super dope especially with automation. Ableton might be the stock king. Synths like wavetable and operator flow so perfectly with the rest of the stock effects. It’s almost like the Apple eco system. You can map an LFO in ableton to anything so easily its so much fun to experiment with. FL has some serious stock sauce to get your s*** knocking instantly and even Reason got crazy ass drum sounds and s***. If you’re looking for VSTs specifically tho I’d recommend Fab Filter effects cuz they give you visualization and customizability that’s pre rare. For synths Roland cloud s*** is super dope and obvious arturia V collection. Diva is a really fun synth and serum lets you do basically anything. Also T-Racks collection has some really dope s***
