I think that climate change being a serious issue is something we can/should try to agree on regardless of political ideology. We all live on the same planet so it makes sense to try to work towards solving it.

But i still feel like humans have f***ed the earth up too much and planting trees now isn't gonna do much. Real change will happen if large companies place ethics over profit but thats not happening

It's absolutely real and we have the power (but for many of us, not the willingness) to stifle its devastating effects.
