If you wanna be independent, use what you like

Get Logic or Ableton

dont bother with FL unless you need their step sequencer

Dont bother with Pro tools unless you’re purely an engineer

Use ableton the most and def worth to try different daws to see which one you like more

ive been using fl studio since version 3 lmao but i mainly use maschine which you can use as a plugin with fl studio.
