It’s clear UMG and Drake are at odds, a lot of former collaborators began dissing him and UMG has seemingly made a huge effort to to push and promote these songs and false allegations about him, there are theories of him going independent or asking for a huge payout next contract but is there any evidence of this or any other theories out there?

This almost seems too simple to me , it really couldn’t have been that much , there are so many forms of compensation and these companies have so much leverage and so many resources I’d figure has they’d find a way to satisfy him fairly easily while still being extremely profitable if not more, like what’s really the marginal difference between paying Drake what he wants, and what they’re paying to push Kendrick + what he’ll want next contract?
