Only watched half but its pretty spot on, todays society only cares about material things and not the things that actually matter

Whys it scary to you? It’s of course exaggerating but it’s true to an extent. Something happens, but we get “distracted” by something else.

Just the visuals of Los Angeles being overran by giant aliens, meteor showers, and zombies

Key verse is verse 9
The intro of the commercial reminds me of this verses.
2 Esdras 6:7-9

7 Then answered I and said, What shall be the parting asunder of the times? or when shall be the end of the first, and the beginning of it that followeth?

This is also a reference to the Adam and Eve story.
