i unironically believe in the concept of nihilism and absurdism. Educated people refer to it as a disease of thought and something you’re supposed to move on from but i learned about that s*** in high school and my world view never developed beyond that

im not an npc type without an “inner monologue” but once i accepted myself and my belief in these things i started living my life in a way that would align with that as opposed to what i think i was doing before when i would pray at night and just hope for the best with whatever I was worried about. Now i expect the worst from every situation but i dont walk around depressed either

the highest highs and lowest lows are equal to each other in terms of how meaningless and temporary any given experience in life is. There is nothing really preventing your roof from collapsing on you and killing you in your sleep, but you also have an equal chance of winning hundreds of millions of dollars in the powerball

Isn't "meaning" just a human construct? I think this is all a giant butterfly effect, something larger set off a chain of events that created everything you know and ever will know, including the idea of meaning. So no, I don't think this is meaningful at all really, but I do believe it is important to play into the idea that there is no meaning, there would be fun in the world if we didn't. So I guess I think fun is the meaning of it all. At least to me.

I don’t think it’s about anything, but I’m grateful those who came before me did bc they improved the human experience a crazy amount.

We live in an awesome time where we can experience and learn about so many amazing things and have a life filled with interesting and profound moments. 100 years ago it would have been so much more difficult and I’m thankful for that.

I think humans can't comprehend meaning of life at all. Take for comparison, we have 99.9% same DNA as a shark. I bet you sharks don't know s*** about meaning of life. We have luck that we have consciousness. I mean just enjoy it with friends and family. Micro wise life has many meanings, else we wouldn't do anything, we reproduce, learn, have jobs etc. These things are meanings.

Macro wise we don't know at all.. Maybe there is maybe there isnt a reason.

I like to joke and say god sneezed and the universe came into being and all of life happened in that one second before he wiped his nose or whatever, but really I believe this life is crazier than we could ever imagine. I broke the chains of belief at an early age and honestly I wish I could believe in a god again, but now that I saw past that I guess it’s time to try and take this life as far as it could possibly go and leave my mark on humanity. It’s Childish and stupid I know, but I have the comfort of knowing I can kill my self at any moment if I’m ever unsatisfied with what I become.

The only thing we know for sure is that we are the universe experiencing itself. So it's probably not really about anything.
